The Future of Identity (Keystone) in OpenStack

Project: OpenStack Keystone

Since the Essex release, the OpenStack Identity Project (Keystone) has seen significant numbers of improvements. Some of these improvement include the addition of the V3 API, PKI Tokens, Trusts, Federated Identity, Non-Persistent Tokens, etc.

This talk will discuss the most recent developments for Keystone and what is being planned for Identity during Liberty and beyond.

Morgan Fainberg

Morgan is the PTL for the OpenStack Identity Project (Keystone) and a HP Open Source Software Engineer working in the Office of Corporate Strategy and Technology. Morgan has been an active contributor to OpenStack, across a large number of projects in the OpenStack ecosystem since the Essex release. He also has significant experience in deployment and operating OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure. Over the years Morgan has specialized in large scale deployment and operation across a variety of technology industries including Web Hosting, Social Media, Video Games, and Cloud Infrastructure.
